WHY
WE CHOSE WIND
Since ancient times, with the invention of mills and sailing sails, wind has been used as an energy source. Nowadays, when the need for more reliable, clean and renewable energy sources is one of the greatest challenges facing humanity, the benefits of wind cannot go unnoticed – an easily accessible, free, clean and inexhaustible energy source.
The development of projects in suitably windy areas near the sea and the high parts of mountains allows the maximum use of wind potential, despite the changing speed and direction.
The financial advantages are related to the competitiveness of the electricity price as well as the independence from fuel prices and the extraction of mineral resources. The benefits for nature and the environment are significant. Apart from being cheap, wind energy is environmentally friendly - there is no air and soil pollution, no CO2 emissions and no radioactive waste. The areas where wind farms are built can still be used for industrial or agricultural activities without disturbing the ecological balance and life of people.
Modern life needs more and more electricity. Currently, it turns out to be one of the most important issues we face. The challenge is finding an efficient, cheap and environmentally-friendly way to produce it.
